====== Plate_renderer ====== The plate_renderer is a tool for simulating camera observations on small bodies. With the given epoch, spacecraft position, attitude, instrument information, and the target shape, it can output a simulated camera image and observation geometries at that epoch. Although it is originally developed for Hayabusa and Hayabusa 2 missions, it can be easily modified to simulate observations of other small body missions. The plate_renderer is work with the SPICE toolkit developed by NAIF/JPL/NASA. You have to install the toolkit to compile the plate_renderer. CFITSIO is also required. ===== Source =====
